Matthew, F2 student

St. Joseph’s College

Attending Mr. Evans' class greatly improved my skills in English in both speaking and writing. Using exquisite words is crucial to writing a good passage. In the lessons, I learnt numerous vocabulary and writing skills for essays and stories. Moreover, I became more fluent and confident in speaking English as communicating with Mr Evans built up my courage. I have become more used to communicating in English.

Mr. Evans is the best teacher I have ever had. He is supportive and encouraging. Academically, I have learned a wide range of authentic vocabulary which helps to enrich my writings. For my personal growth, I learnt to set goals and work hard to achieve them. I am grateful to have such a passionate teacher.

Mr. Evans is a very patient teacher. What I like most about the lessons is that he makes it extremely interesting. He encourages me to work harder. I think my grammar has improved a lot.

I like Ms Wu’s lessons because of the fun activities. I learned vocabulary, English grammar, reading skills and writing skills from the Reading Club. My examination results improve sharply after joining the lessons. I am surprised to receive the score of 99/100 in my English examination. I highly recommend joining the club.

I have known Ms Wu since she was my son’s English teacher in school. She has the qualities of an outstanding teacher as she is patient and enthusiastic. She keeps her students engaged in class. After joining the phonics course, my daughter has remarkable improvement in reading. Most important, she gained more confidence in learning English. It is a joy to see my daughter enjoys reading in her spare time. I am really grateful for Ms Wu's help. Not only does she teach the subject knowledge, she also cares about her students wholeheartedly.

Ms Wu always encourages students to express their thoughts and creative ideas. I am very impressed that my son is capable of using the new vocabulary learned in class.
